Spin welding requires that the parts have to be radially symmetrical. For by the rotating friction against each other of the part to be welded against the torsion-fixed weld part, the necessary melt heat in the joint zone is achieved along with the applied vertical pressure.
For spin welding applications with high quality requirements we offer systems with servo drives. Measurable torque and adjustable limit value ranges as well as deceleration to a specified end position are several reasons.
The weld results are comparable to ultrasonic welding; the range of materials that can be welded is greater though for the rotation process.
